How do I set my shift?
Open ShiftDial on your Apple Watch, go to Settings → Shifts, choose your shift length (24, 48, or 72 hours) and set your clock-in time.
Does ShiftDial cost anything?
No. ShiftDial is free and contains no in-app purchases. More options are planned for a future update.
How do I add a complication?
Press and hold your watch face, tap Edit, swipe to the complications screen, and choose ShiftDial for the slot you want. Inline, circular, rectangular, and corner complications are all supported.

ShiftDial — Privacy Policy

ShiftDial ("the app," "we," "us") is an Apple Watch app that helps people who work long, fixed shifts—such as firefighters, EMS, and other 24-hour responders—see where they are in their on/off shift cycle. We designed ShiftDial to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.
THE SHORT VERSION
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. ShiftDial has no servers, no account system, and no analytics or advertising. Everything you enter stays on your Apple Watch (and any Apple devices you sync through your own iCloud, if enabled by the operating system).
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
None. ShiftDial does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location. We do not operate any server that receives your data, and the app contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising software.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
To do its job, the app stores the following locally on your device:

Your shift settings (clock-in time, shift length, and off-duty length).

Your display preferences (such as theme and dial options).

Whether you have completed first-time setup.
This information is saved in your device's local app storage so the app and its complications can show your shift. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not share your information, because we do not collect it. ShiftDial contains no third-party SDKs that receive your data.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
ShiftDial is intended for working adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Because your data is stored only on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting ShiftDial from your Apple Watch removes the app's locally stored settings.
INTERNATIONAL USERS
ShiftDial processes everything locally on your device and does not transfer your data across borders, because no data leaves your device.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy, we will update the "Effective date" above and publish the new version at the same location. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's Legal section.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ShiftDial app ("the app," "we," "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
THE APP
ShiftDial is an Apple Watch app that displays where you are in a fixed on/off shift cycle. The app is free and contains no in-app purchases.
NOT A SAFETY OR MEDICAL DEVICE
ShiftDial is an informational convenience tool only. It is not a medical device, alarm system, or safety-critical timekeeping system, and it must not be relied upon for any safety-critical, operational, medical, or emergency decision. Times shown are estimates based on the schedule you enter and your device's clock. Always follow your employer's official rosters, dispatch, and procedures. ShiftDial does not recommend, endorse, or prescribe any work schedule, shift length, or rest pattern. The 24-, 48-, and 72-hour options are presets for displaying common rotations you or your employer set; they are not advice about safe or healthy hours, and ShiftDial does not assess fitness for duty.
LICENSE
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any missed shift, lost work, or other loss arising from your use of or reliance on the app.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above and reflect material changes in the app's Legal section. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
APPLE
